EVANGELINE DICKSON - DIRECTOR

Evangeline is a director and performer working in ensemble-led, physically dynamic theatre. She was assistant director to Emma Rice on her production of North by Northwest, touring the UK as sole assistant director, and will soon tour the United States with the production in 2026.

Evangeline trained at Mountview and on the Emma Rice Company Residency, and during her training at Mountview was awarded the Lilian Baylis Award for likelihood to make a significant contribution to British theatre.

She was Movement Director for Red Rose Chain on Pinocchio (Avenue Theatre) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Theatre in the Forest), and assisted directed on Iris Theatre’s production of Arthur/Merlin at the Actor’s Church, Covent Garden.

Alongside this, she has directed internal productions with students at Rose Bruford and Mountview as a visiting practitioner, and has worked in creative roles on productions at the Barn Theatre, for Immersive Everywhere and as part of award-winning physical theatre company Spies Like Us.
